Stuffing for Naps at Daycare
Sorry to be a PW today, but some questions have come up now that we're a little over a month into CD'ing and you ladies always have such good advice.
Daycare was having trouble getting the snaps snapped right on our pocket and AIOs. So I bought some SoftBums Omnis and some BG 4.0s in aplix to try. They are working relatively well, but he's recently (at 3 months) started wetting a little heavier in general and when he takes 2-3 hour naps at daycare we're having leaks when using the larger insert only.
So moms of heavy wetters, how do you handle stuffing for naps at daycare? Do you send a diaper or two already stuffed for a nap? Do you send inserts and trust daycare to know how to stuff? Is there some other diaper I should buy and try that would be easy for daycare?
My fave ON combo right now is AC cover stuffed with either 1 Stay Dry and 1 bamboo or 2 bamboo inserts and a fleece liner, but I think that's too complicated for daycare.
Bonus question - any suggestions on what I should be looking for great deals on for an ON diap for a heavy wetter when we outgrow our AC and/or the absorbency on the two bamboo inserts? I've heard Sbish/Sbloom fitteds are good. Is there a place to stuff extra in them? Or will I not need it, even for a heavy wetter?
Thanks for your advice!
Re: Stuffing for Naps at Daycare
S'bish Sloomb does not have a pocket, but there are two doublers that come with it that you just lay on top of the fitted (next to baby's bottom).
ETA: I'd send a few pre-stuffed for naps... If you can, colour co-ordinate them... Blue is for naptime, etc.
For naps I would prestuff. I would recommend maybe one of the AC bamboo inserts in one of the aplix BG 4.0's. I like the pp's suggest of colour coding them.
For bedtime I love sbish diapers. Like pp mentioned they do not have a pocket to stuff, but I always add a hemp insert to mine when using them for ON. I just put the hemp insert under the bamboo inserts that come with the diaper.

I love the color coding idea. Much easier to remember to always use blue for naps!
The S'bish with a hemp insert sounds like something we'll have to try. I googled them, and found Kelly's Closet as a seller. It also looks like Bummis Bamboozles and EcoPosh Fitteds get pretty good reviews. What says TB? Just get 3-4 S'bish and call my ON stash good or try one of each?
