I just ruined pretty much all of my size 2 nipples. I am debating trying the size 3 before I replace all of them. He has been on size 2 for 2 months. He goes strong at the beginning, but then gets bored with the bottle. Is that a sign? Or should I wait until he's acting frustrated?
I as well had a preemie and she has been using sizer 3 nipples since she was a month old. She used to take a long time to drink her bottle, but once we switched to size 3 she can drink her entire bottle in less than 10 minutes!
I think its a good consideration to try a bigger nipple now, but get a spit up bib ready because your little one may get a bigger mouth full and need to adjust to swollowing more food at a time! good luck!
We started using 3s a few weeks ago for that exact reason. They were getting bored halfway through their bottles. They're doing great with the 3s. It won't hurt to try it. You'll be able to tell if he is overwhelmed with the faster speed.
Our 5 month old is still on size one, I've actually never thought of switching. He drinks an 8oz bottle in 10 minutes. Should we just keep with the size one?
