anyone convert prefolds to fitteds

I have several prefolds and covers that I didn't really like using but am thinking of trying to make snapless fitteds out of them.  Anyone one have luck doing this or have patterns they really loved?

I did it by using 2 prefolds... one to make a doubler and the waist and one for the main part.

I didn't use a pattern though... just made it up as I was going.  They worked really well... but she's outgrown them now.  We actually just retired them tonight.  I'll see if I can find the link to my original post w/ pics.

I was going to do a dozen. After 3 I decided not to do anymore. They don't fit as long, and the Birdseye can run easy at the edges.

This.  DD is only 13.5 lbs now and the handmade fitteds don't fit at all, while the prefolds that were the same size will fit for a much longer time.
