At my inlaw's house. We told them and my MIL's reaction was something like "What did you do? Are you sure? What did you do?!?"

I feel so sick right now. There is a language barrier and she doesn't understand my condition, but it's like she had never heard of miscarriage before. I suddenly wasn't hungry and excused myself from dinner.

Omg I hear them in the next room talking about my poor mom who doesn't have a grandkid and that there must be a reason for the miscarriage. It just keeps getting better.

I just want to go home, and for husband to go to work so I can be alone with some wine.

I still have to tell my mom. She'll be more understanding but way more devastated.

No wait, it's getting better. They asked if we went to church on Xmas we didn't. I sincerely hope they're not implying what I think they're implying...

It'd be funny if I didn't feel nauseous at the implication that it somehow was my fault.

I forgot to mention that she said that my belly still looked big. Um, I hadn't started showing yet.

I think she covered all the wrong things that people can say. Oh well. I'm at home in my pj's now. Time for that wine!

Some people are so clueless!! Talk about salt in the wound. You are a strong beautiful woman who did absolutely nothing wrong!! I hope your MIL sees what she's done and makes amends. T P's with you. X

Wow, just wow. I think I would have totally broken down. Hopefully your DH was able to handle it and help them understand that this isn't because of anything you did or didn't do.
