I'm 39 weeks and 2 days and today during my appt I had an ultrasound that showed baby was right occiput teansverse with a nuchal hand.
I'm hoping for a vbac and this kinda throws a wrench in my plans. I still have time for him to rotate but just wondering if anyone has any experience with a nuchal hand?
TIA
Re: nuchal hand
No personal experience...
but there's a great article on spinningbabies that explains it and gives suggestions for exercises to try to encourage baby to turn. https://www.spinningbabies.com/baby-positions/all-positions/right-occiput-transverse
I'd also try to get to a Webster certified chiropractor. They can make sure your back/pelvis/ligaments are all in alignment to give baby the best chance at rotating.

And.... be patient! Give baby time to rotate even in labor. Avoid an epi if you can so you can be up and moving to help baby get into a better position. Good luck!
