Glass Bottles?

Whose using Glass bottles and your reasoning for it? Also, which kind are you using? Lo is in daycare but I've heard some great things about glass bottles and thinking to try it out.

  • Where did you find them?
I have looked at a few stores and can't find any glass ones
  • We're using the Evenflo glass bottles - 8 oz size.  I found a 3 pack at Target.

I feel better about putting the glass in the dishwasher then the plastic.  I'm sure you can put both in the dishwasher, but I just feel like the glass is safer to run through the wash cycle.

  • Even bpa-free bottles have plasticizers that are just as bad as bpa. It's especially bad to have anything warm/hot in plastic.

So, glass bottles (dr brown) and  stainless sippy (klean kanteen) in our house. I like the life factory ones, too, because you can just get a sippy top when you switch from the bottle. Our daycare required silicone covers.

Same here.  We order them from Amazon.  Our daycare provider is fine with them, though she did request a plastic one for when the kids are outside and she feeds DD on the patio.
