Merry Christmas + a reminder...

Merry Christmas everybody.  I am grateful for this board and to have a place to ask all my stupid questions. :-)

We had a nice night with DH's family and now we're getting ready to head to my parents house, where I cannot WAIT to watch my niece and nephew tear into their gifts! I hope everybody has a safe, happy, HEALTHY, drama-free holiday with friends and family.

I have a reminder / request... last night as we were driving to dinner, I was completely overcome by sadness, thinking about the families of Sandy Hook who lost their children in the past few weeks.  I couldn't help but thinking how dismal their holiday must be right now, how empty their hearts are.

My holiday wish is that we all keep them in our hearts and heads through our own celebrations. If you are the praying type, please say a special prayer for those families who will struggle to heal.  I am hormonal, but I almost burst into tears last night thinking about this, and thinking about how LUCKY we all are, just because we are alive and loved.
