About to become a 2u2 mom

on WEDNESDAY!! I have a c-section scheduled for 8am on the 26th and I am starting to get really nervous.  I think I need some reassurance from moms who have done this before! 

1. I'm nervous about having another section and not being able to interact with DD (17 months) like I'd like the day of or days after while I'm in the hospital.

2. I'm worried about recovery once I get home...even though with my first section, I came out of the hospital and the next day was in my brothers wedding, and lasted all night! 

3. I'm worried how DD is going to handle the transition from only child to having a new baby in the house.  

 Anyone have any advice on how to make these transitions smoother?

We just brought home our LO to an 18m old, so I'm right there with you! It has actually gone much smoother than I thought it would. LO1 feeds her dolls when I feed DD2, etc. DH is still off of work, so we just make sure one of us is showing LO1 attention to keep down the jealousy. No real advice, just wanted to try to encourage you! GL
