So we are supposed to go to DH's grandmother's for lunch tomorrow. DH is going to a football game so I would go alone with Paul. His grandmother just got out of the hospital with pneumonia. I called MIL and told her I wasnt exposing LO to that. She really pressured me, so I called the pediatrician on call to get permission not to go. MIL wont argue with a doctor. I dont care if it's a weekend and a holiday. I didn't want to go in the first place. At least the doctor understood. I was expecting to get fussed at.

Uh I wouldn't go either if the grandma just had pneumonia. It's crazy that your MIL isn't being understanding.

I would keep LO away too. It's surprising how people forget how dangerous it is for babies to be sick.

i didnt feel like going through the drama of fighting it. It was much easier to go this route. It's been a rough day ladies.
