I finally let DH take a MOTN feeding

I always do middle of the night feedings b/c I don't like to waste my stored BM if I am home. I save it for when I am gone or if I choose to have a drink.

Last night we had our friends over for our Christmas dinner with them. I told DH when we were heading to bed and I was exhausted that I threw a freezer bag in the fridge to start defrosting so he could take middle of the night feeding. I got to sleep from 11:30pm to 6:00am. After I fed DD at 6:00am she went back to sleep. I cleaned our whole house edited some pictures and I am now drinking coffee and having a piece of cake for breakfast. My whole fmaily is still sleeping :)

    FINALY?! I would've died had SO not done this from the beginning...well, not died, but you know. Doesn't it feel amazing? Aren't you like a new woman? Get it, honey! Mmm, cake for breakfast.

    I have been pretty lucky. DD sometimes sleeps till 5am and if she doesn't she only wakes once around 1 or 2 so it hasn't been too bad. I really hate pumping so it is hard for me to take stored BM and use it.  

    HGTV showed some people in England eating cake for breakfast and used that as justification for me to do it too
