I'm on a mission to get home.  I live in Pasadena,Ca. which is where the Rose Parade is held.  Well even though the parade is 11 days away there are already a ton of tourists out here making Pasadena ridiculusly congested.  I only live six miles from work but there are also 3 major shopping districts between work & home. Yay traffic!!!

I work tomorrow- so no crazy Friday night for me! My night consists of catching up on DVR, catching up on the bump, researching maternity/newborn photographers, and eating

Going grocery shopping for my way too complicated Christmas weekend meal plan and potentially taking my daughter to Urgent Care on the off chance that she has an ear infection. She had a fever yesterday and rubbed her ears today and I would rather pay the $20 copay today than wait until Christmas and have to pay $100 to sit in the ER all day.

Actually going to see Peter Pan on Broadway with another couple!! But usually, I'd just be watching tv, eating and cuddled on the couch!

Ugh, I need to clean too. In the morning, we're getting a home visit from the rescue shelter we're looking to adopt a dog from and my house is a mess. :-(

We were supposed to make a big batch of Chex Mix, but the hubs managed to get everything (gluten-free, no less) EXCEPT THE CHEX.  She actually forgot Chex... for Chex Mix.

My sister and niece should arrive about 3:00 a.m. - squeet!

Haha, so you're making the pizza delivery dude drive instead.  Promise I'm not snarking at you, this actually did hit my funny bone.  I mean, hey, he's working tonight is he not?  So get that pizza, lol.

As for me...I'm dealing with a cranky five-year-old and a messy house, and I just woke up from a three-hour nap to this and feeling quite cranky myself now.  So I'm going to spend tonight trying to turn these frowns upside down, even though I kind of want to just go back to bed.

So far, I straightened up downstairs some, folded the laundry that the hubby washed while I was at work, and wrapped some Christmas presents.  Currently I'm laying on the couch in my PJ's under a blanket beside the cat. It's cozy and snowing outside.  I really need to put the laundry away, but idk...

Ds and DH went shopping. So I have 2 different batches of cookies chilling in the fridge, I just finished an awesome steak dinner i made for myself, and now i can't decide if i should spend my time alone taking a nice long shower or bath, or wrapping Christmas gifts....hmm decisions decisions.

Flying to Chicago! Looks like my flight will get out on time Going to see DH's family for an early Christmas weekend. 

On an entertaining note, I was getting ready to leave tonight, changing my clothes, and caught a glimpse of my your-know-what in the mirror (which I can no longer see from above)... and Oh My GOD what a mess! Will also be booking a Brazilian this weekend, Jesus!

DH loves him some Borderlands. I used to be quite the gamer, but have fallen away from it a bit. 

I'm south of Harrisburg a bit. I didn't realize there were buggies out here until I moved here. I thought they were all in Lancaster!

Went out to dinner with some girls from book club. Wound up standing in front of the outdoor fire chatting for a couple of hours.  Now I'm home and eyeing my heating pad.  Can't believe how bad it hurt my lower back to sit in a restaurant booth for 3 hours.

Hubs and I were excited to be invited out with friends, especially since he hasnt had a friday night off work in months. Completely dressed, hair and makeup done, shoes on, waiting for text from friend.......totally fell asleep!! We changed into PJs, ordered pizza, then went to bed! Much better!
