He napped in my arms today

It was only for half an hour but it was so, so sweet!  We put J down for a nap (Attempt #3) and he went down w/o much trouble.  He slept for about an hour but when he woke up it was obvious he was still pretty sleepy.  I held him and rocked him for awhile and he seemed okay w/that so I decided to risk sitting down at the computer.  It took him a little bit to settle in(I think the buttons on my shirt were a little uncomfortable) but I kept holding him, rocking in the chair and shooshing him and he finally fell asleep.  When he woke up a half hour later he was in a much, much better mood.

It's been ages since he slept in my arms and I'm so happy I had that at a time when I could fully appreciate how wonderful it felt.

Awwww.  I just replied to your loopy post.  It sounds like he needed his mama last night & today.  Isn't it sweet when they sleep in your arms now?!?!  I hope his cold is gone too!

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHH...how sweet!! You definitely have to take those moments when you get em!

And to think...one day our boys will be begging us to drop them off at school...around the corner. sigh.

oh man, I am so jealous!  I tried to take E in my bed for her am nap yesterday but she thought it was time to play.  Unless I can climb into her crib, I don't see how we would be able to pull it off.
