Pillow in the crib?

Just today we started putting a pillow in Caden's crib.  He has had a bit of a runny nose and I have heard the elevation can help a bit.  He also really seems to like it.  I am wondering if I should have tried this earlier.  Seems much more comfy.  But I am still sightly paranoid about it, but they need to start at some point...

Does your DC sleep w/ a pillow? If so- at what age did you start?

    Faith has had a pillow in her crib since she was about a year old. It's feather pillow that flattens really easily so I am not as concerned about suffocation.

    I wish we had one in Ryan's crib. I've been looking for a toddler pillow but haven't had much luck. (Although I haven't really looked that hard.)
    Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

    After seeing April's blog post about Ty sleeping w/a pillow I think I'll try that w/J next time he's sick.  I may try and buy him his own flat one but I like the idea of him having something else to cuddle w/since he doesn't seem too interested in cuddling w/the teddy or two blankets I put in there for him.
