I don't know how people get pics of their kids crying in Santa's lap. DS wiggled out of Santa's lap in 0.0005 seconds! This is the best we got. DH is cranky that he's in the pic, but DS wouldn't let go of him, so...

The photography recommended that we back Kieran onto Santa's lap, and he must have had a good grip so Kieran couldn't get loose.
This went about as we expected. Santa didn't seem too thrilled either. SK - at the Columbia mall they were super fast. Drop kid on lap, click, click, done. I was actually a tiny bit annoyed that they didn't give it a second to see if she'd stop. Seriously, this took all of about 5 seconds.

We tried today and it was an epic fail. We got dd all dressed up but she was so scared and had a death grip on me. We tried to turn it into a family pic but the second we got near him she flipped out again.
Ras we had the opposite experience at the mall we went to Columbia too and I feel like they should have snapped a pic right away but they didn't so whatever opportunity was there was gone in an instant.
bumping from my phone. please pardon any typos and missing punctuation
Sydney wouldn't get anywhere near him. I think we will be like Kathryn and not get a pic until maybe she's older and in school. We did get Violet on his lap this year because she didn't know any better, but I am on mobile and can't upload the pic. Boo.
I have a hard time posting pictures from my computer but we went to Columbia Mall last night and it was an epic fail too. I definitely felt rushed (even though there was no one in line behind us) and the Santa seemed pretty annoyed. Not a pleasant experience. I am comforted by the fact my kids weren't the only criers on Santa's lap...

The pic you posted on FB was hilarious!!
Haha thanks! I intend to use it as blackmail when they are older. Did you take your kids to see Santa?

I think we are going to try in the morning. S will be all about it, I am certain, and I am also certain B will freak because of his stranger anxiety. He screams and clings to me every time someone else wants to hold him, even DH sometimes, lol.
Re: AW: Post your LO's Santa's pictures Here!
On Sunday we went to the B&O Railroad Museum with the IL's. This is one of my favorite pictures of the girls with Mrs. Claus. I love C's expression.
Kieran loves Santa!
