I'm 99% sure I'm having an anovulatory cycle this month. We took it off b/c DH was going to be gone, so I didn't bother temping, using OPKs, using progesterone, etc. Of COURSE this is my luck. Anyway, I can only recall one true anovulatory cycle since TTC, which was in May. I had about 5 days of spotting, which progressively got heavier before it turned into AF. That cycle was also long for me (35 days, gasp! My cycles range between 26 and 28 days, usually).
So here I am, CD26, on my 5th day of spotting....only it is getting lighter. I have no cramps, but my boobs have been sore since about CD15. I'm so confused. I was supposed to start my first medicated cycle this month, so this stalling is really annoying.
Here's my question - does this sound like a "typical" anovulatory cycle (if there is such a thing)? I know the magic number is 60 days for when you should see your doctor, but if I know I'm not KU, would it make sense to call them and see if they want me to do anything by a certain point? I'm not saying right now, but if I still don't have AF in a week, for example.
Edited for clarity.
