Whine: Why I can't deliver earlier this time?

I know I'm *only* in week 37, but I am SOOOOO ready to be done being pregnant already.  I know it's best for baby to stay in there as long as she can, but COME ON.  I delivered at 40w, 1d with DD1, and I do not want to make it to 40w with this one.....

Did anyone have DC1 at 40w, but go earlier with DC2?

Sorry, Sumn! I was induced and had Ben at 38 weeks, 1 day. I went into labor on my own with Emily and had her at 38 weeks, 2 days.

With DD#1 I was 8 days early.  With DD#2 she was born on her due date.  I was *mad* because I was like you and I was DONE.  But it was better that she wasn't early because she was so small.

I'll cross my fingers for you.  I had hoped I'd go earlier with #2 also, since #1 was induced at almost 42 weeks:(  #2 was just as stubborn, but I asked for the induction earlier...like 3 days past my due date. 

I'm sure you are ready, but just *try* to enjoy these last few weeks with DD.  Easier said than done, I know:)

Evan came on his due date, and Bennett was 3 days early (he was also due 11/28). ?A friend who was due after me delivered a week before me, and I was so jealous. ?The next week, though, I remember being so grateful for that extra quality time with just me and my older DS. ?It was the last time we had that time for just the two of us.

My SIL had a c-section at 37 weeks, and my niece had to spend a week in the NICU because her lungs weren't mature. ?Just try to be patient and enjoy the last few weeks of one-on-one time with your dd. ?Not easy though, I know.

My first child was born at 39 weeks, 5 days and my second child was born at 38 weeks, 3 days.  I went into labor naturally both times.  I SO know the feeling of just being done toward the end of pregnancy.   Best wishes for an easy delivery and a healthy baby!

Oh, honey, I hear you.

I am 36 weeks and a bit, and I am soooo over it. I went to 41w 1d with ds, and this one is scheduled for 38w 6d.... I will have 16 days less pregnancy and it's still not enough. LOL

Late... I could have written this post.  Ugh.  I am so over being pregnant.  I know it's better is she stays in there longer, but I will lose my mind if I have to do this too much longer.
