So first of all DS suddenly got the heebie-jeebies about slides and stopped wanting to go down alone. He wanted me to go down with him. I usually oblige but one near us is way too narrow - built for no more than 6 year olds I'd say. I explained that Mummy was too big for the slide. He was ok with that , he did a dance around the sandpit singing at the top of his voice "Mummy too big, mummy too big, no slide for mummy" to the tune of Twinkle twinkle!
Ahhhh Thanks DS! LOL
THEN - he suddenly picks up saying "Oh God". I know I've caught myself saying that but I've seriously cut back since the first time I heard him. I don't know of anyone else who says it so I think he only heard it a few times a week maybe. But he will say it in context ALL THE TIME! If he drops the coin I give him for the guide-dog collection tin (in the shape of a guide dog which he hugs and pats) he will sigh and say "Oh God" as he picks it up!
To make matters worse my rather religious mother came to stay and he said it 3x in 3 mins after she arrived! AND she made it worse by bursting out laughing. So now it is sticking!!?
