Trying to Get Pregnant

pregnancy test left in car at cold temperatures?

I'm sure I can call the manufacturerer tomorrow - but does anyone know off-hand if its bad to leave pregnancy tests (unused of course!) in the car when temperatures drop below room temperature? Possibly, freezing?

I totally forgot I had them in my target bag (3 of them!)

Thanks,

Stefanie

  • I'm not sure, but one of my friends was trying to buy HPTs when another of our friends walked up who didn't know she was trying.  She threw them in with the frozen turkeys until they left!  Lol!  Not that it's helpful information, but a pretty funny story, nonetheless!

  • That is a good story!  I'm sure they'll be okay as I don't see how the temperature would really affect them.

  • I did the same thing with a HPT. It said in the box to not let it get below room temperature. I took it anyway and got a BFN so I'm going to head to the store to buy another test because I'm not sure about the results. I'm 14 DPO with a temp rise this morning that's why I'm going to test again.
