Fun!  There were a lot of boy names that weren't my style but I wouldn't consider too awful.  Girl names though, it was hard to just pick 5 as worst!  But there were also more options that I did really like as well, so it was hard to only pick 5 best ones.

There were a lot of bad girl names.....it was really hard to only pick five

I actually liked the majority of the boys names. The girls names were terrible!

Oh Carson. I get honoring an idol or an icon, but giving the the exact same name is just silly.

On a side note I told DH the same thing and he looked at me like I had 3 head. Apparently he had never heard of Etta James. lol

Yea for the worst of the girl names I picked the ones I would feel ridiculous shouting while expecting a human female to respond- "Fox, Blue, Dixie, here girls!"

The worst names by far are Tennessee James, Blue Ivy and Maxwell Drew.  I hate celebrity-stupidity more than anything in the world.  It's fine to do whatever to yourself to make yourself famous, but that shouldn't include naming your kid something ridiculous to get YOU in the papers more.

I totally agree.  I rated both Maxwell options as bad.   I am still surprised that I like Snooki's name more than I like Reese Witherspoon's.  I'm still trying to decide if it's worse to name a girl a very obvious boy name (and two at that) or a color, or a region of the country that kind of gives off a prejudiced vibe (Dixie).  I think I've got to go with Maxwell Drew because Ivy can make up for Blue a bit and Jessica Simpson just annoys me more.
