OT/Not TTTC related...book suggestions?

Okay ladies, I am starting to look for books to read to keep myself entertained after surgery.  I'm thinking along the lines of sTori Telling/Are you there, vodka/Twilight/Hunger Games...just not 50 Shades...I can't get into it! 

 Now, that being said, please don't judge me!! Lol I do read real books too - I just know while on pain meds I'll need something that doesn't require too much brain power!

I loved the hunger games and the Steigg Larson series. I think the first one was girl with the dragon tattoo.

ETA: the funniest books I have ever read were by Tucker Max, Do they serve beer in hell.

Since you mentioned Are You There, Vodka- have you read I Was Told There'd be Cake by Sloane Crosley? It's a collection of humorous essays that I enjoyed and it reminded me of Chelsea Handler's stuff. Crosley did a follow up called How Did You Get This Number? as well. It's not literary excellence or anything, but it's funny. If you liked The Hunger Games, I would suggest Divergent. There is a sequel called Insurgent, and there will be a 3rd book next year I think. Not quite as good as Hunger Games, but dystopian stuff along those lines. And an easy read.

Divergent it is! I haven't even heard of it before - but it looks good from the description on Amazon!! Thanks ladies!

I like the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.  The first book is One For the Money, which was made into a movie with Katherine Heigl.  I will warn you that the first book was my least favorite, it was slow compared to the others.
