DH left to pick up falafal and the trimmings, Paul is in bed, I have the tree on, candles lit, and Diana Krall on Pandora. Finally feels like Christmas.

We have been on a Pinterest kick. Tonight was spinach and artichoke pasta bake. It was ok, but our least favorite so far. Of course we have enough left overs to last 3 days.

I'm jealous! Everyone here is sick except me and LO. I had ramen noodles and a PB sandwich by myself. What a depressing Saturday night!

There's nothing left in the house because we're leaving for Houston on Monday. But we pieced together some fake chicken orange chicken, spring rolls, a frozen veggie mix, and I made fried rice with some really old leeks and peas that were in the back of the freezer which actually turned out pretty good.

We had leftover pasta sauce that I made last night. My DH made polenta to serve the sauce over. It was spectacularly yummy!
