    One gift I will be giving this year..... my mom wants to start collecting the Swarofsky (sp?) annual ornaments so I think I'm going to get her started

    How did you meet your SO? We both lived in the same dorm in college.  One night he walked by my room when was door was open and said "you're going out with me and my friends tonight".  He wasn't my "type" but I took a chance.  Glad I did.

    How did you meet your best friend? (besides your SO) We worked together for a few years.  Funny thing is that I've been working from home for 4 and a half years and she changed jobs and no longer works with me but I email back and forth with her everyday to the point where I say "are you here today?"  or I tell people I work with her but I really don't anymore.

    One gift I will be giving this year..... nothing great, I'm basically skipping Christmas, but I did get everyone little things...mostly clothes I ordered online.

    How did you meet your SO? At a bar. We were so drunk and dancing with eachother and my friend was dancing with his friend. Well my friend (who doesn't drink- and who was also my ride) left with his friend while I was in the bathroom cause she knows I wouldn't have let her go. So I was stuck in Boston with no ride, drunk, with a guy I didn't know at all...I was pissed. Well, he was so nice about it...drove me home, asked for my number and called me the next day. The rest is history...I'm not friends with that girl anymore though.

    How did you meet your best friend? (besides your SO) We were in economics class together in college.

    All I want for Christmas is.....this is about to sound a little repetitive, but a BFP. But if I don't get that, I just want some quiet time with my family where we can reflect on our year and remember Devon.
     
    *edit* Looks like I'm not getting the BFP this month, which I'm totally OK with [surprisingly]. Now, I can focus on the holiday and making it the best for DS while remembering his little brother.
     
    One gift I will be giving this year..... A bowling ball. That's what my husband wanted...
     
    How did you meet your SO? I moved in to a house across the street from him in 2001. We hated each other for a good 3 years before we finally had a heart-to-heart. He helped me through some tough stuff my senior year of high school, which led to us figuring out we liked each other. Started dating September 2004, engaged November 2007, and married March 2009.
     
    How did you meet your best friend? (besides your SO) She and I have been best friends since 5th grade. My mom used to be the coordinator for my elementary school's Extended Day program, and she started attending the same year my mom took over. We just hit it off right away.

    How did you meet your SO?

    I was studying abroad in Denmark and lived in a dorm with lots of common areas, including a bar that was open on the weekends. He was visiting some friends there who I knew because we shared a kitchen. He thought he would get in my pants that night but in the end, it took six months and a trip to Texas to meet my family before he got any Stick out tongue.

    How did you meet your best friend? (besides your SO)

    We became friends riding the bus to school in 6th grade and have stuck together ever since!

    At school from an old mutual friend...he was a junior and I was a senior.

    How did you meet your best friend? (besides your SO) 

    My very first one that we have kept in touch I met in preschool when we were 4ys old
