Target registry is ticking me off!

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong on my target registry but I started it one day. Have about 50 items on it and when I go back to add something, it has me login to my registry and then tells me to sign up! Then when I try to "add item to registry" it starts me a whole new baby registry.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? When I look up my registry via as if I were a family member looking to purchase it shows all the stuff I registered so I know quite well that I have a registry!

  • I registered at BBB and Target when I was PG... the only one I had issues with was Target. I know you can call customer service and speak with them but I am not sure how helpful they are. All I know is that most of my gifts weren't off of my registry and I wish I didn't waste the time on it. Plus the completion discount wasn't even worth it.

  • I doubt I will be helpful at all since I HATE target registries... so not user friendly and bad return policies, that said...

    Maybe try to clear the cookies on your computer? The cookies might be saving something wrong/funny...

  • Just checked and its working for me. I got to login first with email and pw then I usually go to an item and click add to registry on the items page but checked and it worked both ways??

    Must depend on the store we had a great experience and no issues with returns. I also loved the extra 10 off but I "cheated" and took the gun and added last minute items to the registry before checking out

    Now when I try to add an item, it adds it to our WEDDING registry!

    It's been doing this for weeks so it looks like tomorrow I'll be making sure of everything we for sure want on there and deleting the old and starting over...

    I would just delete it and register for more at BRU but shower invites are already out with registry info.

  • I had to sign up for a new account, because they changed their registry site (or something like that). And I have had problems ever since. I have never had problems with their registries or returns before this.

    When I click on "add to registry" a pop up window comes up and wants me to pick "wedding registry" or "baby registry" do you have a pop up blocker on preventing this?

    Nope. I get the pop up, click on baby registry, type in my email and password for login and then it shoots me to the next screen that says fill in your fn,ln,address,etc. create registry. So frustrating.

  • Weird, I have had a really easy time with mine online. Maybe you could start you registry in store then log in from home and add/delete online as you want.

     

     

     

  • I've never had issues with Target Registries, the only issue I've ever had is that my friend said she had trouble finding it on her phone today under my name, but found it under DHs... but I have a weird spelling so maybe her phone auto-corrected it.

    other than that I've never had issues with either my wedding one two years ago, or the baby one now

  • I didn't have any problem setting up or updating my Target wedding or baby registry, I can't be of any help other than to advise against calling the 800 number.  My cousin bought my diaper genie and noticed the list didn't update for a few hours showing it was sold.  She called the help line and it was one of those outsourced call centers somewhere out in the world and the three people she spoke with didn't know what a baby registry was.  Maybe you'd be best off going into the store and dealing one on one with an associate.

  • For those having issues with the wedding vs baby registries, unless for some reason you are holding onto your wedding registry I would call customer service, ask for the tech department/registry department and have it deleted. At least that specific problem will be solved!
