I have mf and bamboo inserts and i was wondering what you use for your baby at night. I change my ds diapers literally 3 times a night bc i dont want him waking up with a leak. Last night i wanted to see how long my bamboo inserts would last and the first diaper change lasted 5 hrs but the second time i changed him was 4 hrs later and he was completely wet....i do feed him at least once around 2am.
Re: Overnight diapers
I was only one bamboo insert bc i heard they were super absorbent. Do you do 2 mf together then the bamboo or do you put the bamboo in the middle?
I do one of the following. Either:
A Thirsties Fab fitted with Thirsties Hemp insert inside a Flip cover
OR
A pocket (either BG 4.0 or Alva) stuffed with 1 MF and two Thirsties Hemp inserts
OR
A Flip stay dry insert plus two Thirsties Hemp inserts inside a Flip cover.
My girls seem to be heavy wetters, and though bulky, all of those options keep them dry for as long as 6pm to 8:30am.

We use BG4.0s with both MF inserts + a Thirsties hemp insert. Works very well.

BFP #2: 8.31.16 Dx w/ GD @ 28w DD Born @ 36w: 4.21.17
I use fitteds and wool primarily, but when DD has a sitter I set out a pocket diaper stuffed with a JoeyBunz premium hemp and a tri-folded Flip organic insert - so 4 layers of hemp and 12 or 16 layers of cotton.
