We've pretty much decided on our kid's name if it's a boy, but we'll
probably keep our eyes and ears open just in case another name pops up
that's even more perfect.
But one of the sounds that we seem to really like (and my parents
love too) is the 'Kai' (K-eye)(KYE) sound. We've done quite a bit of
searching to see if we can find this sound in various names, but I'm
wondering if you have heard or know of others.
The boys names with the 'Kai' sound that we know of are:
- Caius (kye-us)
- Kynan (kye-nen)
- Kaiyan (kye-yan)
- Caelum (kye-lum)
- Makai (ma-kye)
- Kai (kye)
- Malachi (ma- le- kye)
You know of any other names with the 'Kai' sound in it? (whether it's a good name or a terrible name, just list what you know. It'll help us in our reflection process, and even terrible names could inspire us to search for something different than what we've found)

But if you really like that sound, there's nothing wrong with the name 'Kai'.
This is what I was going to say.
We also love the sound and wanted to use it as a mn. Kairon (or Kyron) was on our list, but we decided on Makai.
