DS had cloudy urine... possible UTI? Anyone with experience?

DS just went to the bathroom and I noticed that at first, his urine was very cloudy and then it lightened up after he began urinating. I'm wondering about a possible UTI?

Just curious if anyone has had experience with this and their LO?

I will take him to the doctor monday if it is still persisting.. to prompt care tomorrow if he has pain with urination.

It's possible he has a UTI but I have cloudy urine sometimes and my Dr. swears I don't have an infection. So it's not a given that he has a UTI.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it persists or he displays other symptoms. Push a lot of fluids tomorrow to flush it out if it's a start of one.

I took DS to immediate care once because he had a fever and kept telling me it hurt when he urinated. They took a sample, and it was negative. They told me it is extremely uncommon for little boys to have a UTI.

I don't know if kids can have it, but have you thought of cranberry juice. He probably won't like it, but I know it can help with urinary tract health. Not sure if there are any age specs on cranberries.
