Donor Egg Fert Report!

Our clinic called this afternoon to report on our Egg Donor (and now embryos!). She put out 19 eggs for us, they ICSI'd 14, and 11 fertilized!! We'll get an update of our 11 embabies' progress tomorrow, and ET will be either Sunday or Tuesday. Now we are fx for a 5-day ET on Tuesday!
It was a little hard putting all of our trust in our donor, and I think that is common when using a donor egg. We purposely picked one who was proven, and a little older (32) that we knew was mature and would follow protocol - she did great for us! The nurse said our donor was doing well and hadn't had anything irregular come up as a result of her donating 
yay!
Anyhow, wanted to post a little update, especially for the other DE moms-to-be out there. Now, I just follow my protocol - I'm doing 4x vivelle patches every other day & progesterone supositories 3x/day.
One more thing....even though I mostly lurk, it's nice having you all here and I want to thank you I always feel a little out of place as a same-sex couple, and a little guilty not having had the long road many of you have. But, going through IVF, using DE and DS, being 40+, having to have my tubes removed...we are definitely not 'normal' and it's nice to have a safe place to hang out. Thanks again!!

Mar. '13 - Missed m/c at 16w1d, baby boy stopped growing at 15w4d
Loss due to umbilical cord clot...baby was perfect.
Jul '13 - FET#1 - c/p
Sept. '13 - FET#2 - BFN
Dec.' 2, 2013 - FET#3 with our last chance embie - BFP!!!
Dec' 26, 2013 - hb!!
EDD 8/20/14 with a baby girl!
Little S was born on 8/21/14 - 8lb, 14 oz and 20 inches long.
We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes

FET #1 February 26th :: Lost 4 to Thaw, Transferred 2 = BFFN
IVF # 2 Stims 5/10 ER 5/21 (15R, 13M, 13F, 2T, 7F- 6d3 & 1d5) :: Beta # 1- 15 c/p @ 4w
FET #2.2 Scheduled for September 20th
2 Thawed, 2 Transferred! Beta #1- 96, Beta #2 906! :: EDD June 10th
2015- 2 failed FET. We are done

I hope it's OK to respond. I just wanted to say that you are welcome on the LGBT Parenting board too. Many of us are TTC (with and without IF), several are pregnant, and many are parents already, via many different paths. I don't know if any of us have used DEs but most have used DS of some kind and several of us have done IVF.
Congrats on a great fert report! Good luck with your IVF cycle.
