This is what DH gets for being understanding

In case you did not read my post yesterday, DH won 50-50 custody. He was giving her a few days to cope with the idea before getting the share started. Well today her lawyer sent our lawyer a letter proposing a schedule where she gets a day more than him. What about 50-50 does this woman not understand? Guess that`s what DH gets for being understanding. Oh well she has to follow the damn court order.

I thought so too but our lawyer was not surprised so I guess it is normal here.

Because once the schedule is hammered out it will be recorded with the judge and it will be legally binding.

Both, we saw the lawyer outside without BM and she was crying. I don`t know if it was because she lost or because BM chewed her out.

Considering that she told me last week that she wished she was with us as much as her mommy I`d say she is good but she is gonna go to therapy just in case.

This is how BM's lawyer is in our case he CANNOT gasp 50/50 legal custody means BM cannot make decisions on SS with out DH unless it is life threatening. She went and had all SS's teeth caped and expected DH to pay for it and didnt tell us about it. We held her in contempt of court, which her attorney told the judge that the charge was crap because she had physical custody and should be able to do what she wanted with her child.. we hope she keeps this lawyer.

Well since BM`s lawyer has apparently been working the nerve of the judge it is looking like DH`s 2-2-3 schedule will be it.

Even that young, kids know what they want (to an extent haha.) I'm sure SD will adjust just fine, but it's good that she'll be in therapy just in case. Personally, I think BM might mess with SD's head a bit since she is so unhappy with the 50/50, so the therapy would be good for that if that ends up happening.

You are probably right, hopefully it will keep SD a chance to talk about how she feels to someone and she does not have to feel like she is hurting someone`s feelings.
