My baby shower is January 18th, when should we hand out invites?

    I totally agree with this.  If you are inviting people that live quite a distance and they need to make travel arrangements it might be a good idea to just give them a "heads up" asap.  I've never mailed invites out any earlier then 4 weeks before.  A shower is different than a wedding when it comes to mailing out invitations.

    Alsoplus, you (your hostess) should mail them not hand them out.  Your shower is not My Super Sweet Sixteen on MTV.
