Re: How do you prepare?

  • I spent the time cutting down on caffeine and stopped prior to injections.  I also stopped alcohol prior to any injections. I wish I would have worked out more because I have turned into a fat ass throughout IVF cycle.  You won't be allowed to workout when stims begin.

  • I wish I would have made some frozen meals and did a deep cleaning of the house. Once the Lupron started, I didn't feel like cooking (the thought of food actually made me sick) and definitely didn't feel like cleaning. Also, stocking up on the things that I would need from the grocery store (like lots of gatorade).

Whoa, good ideas.  I go thru phases where I coupon and stock up on things so this would be a great time to do that so I don't have to buy much during that time!

  • Cut out caffeine, start taking folic acid, start collecting a few good books or magazines to read when you are stuck on the couch and resting.  Or sign up for Netflix or something where you get free movies.
