Baby on left side of uterus... Boy?

Ok so I've read that if your baby is on the right its a girl or left its a boy? Does anyone know if there's truth in this? I feel like its a boy, no MS, I actually feel great, I have noticed a loss of patience when I'm getting frustrated, testerone maybe? I'm 8 weeks 3 days , first baby... Honeymoon baby!!!!! =

Now that is an old wives tale I haven't heard yet. They are all fun but wouldn't rely on it too much. Congrats on your honeymoon baby!

An embryo implants wherever it can no matter the sex. I've never heard this owt before but honestly, there is no truth to it. As for feeling impatient, women with daughters or sons have experienced this during pregnancy.

How do you know what side of your uterus the baby is on??

this is our first too. For what its worth I have a strong feeling I'm having a boy & looking at the ultrasound monitor baby was on the left side. & the 128 bpm heartrate points to that old wives tale saying its a boy. Guess we will see at 20 week ultrasound if they are right lol

Zobogo.... Mines heart rate was 135 Bpm at 6 weeks 3 days ... We shall see, the Chinese calendar says girl! Haha this is so much fun, cannot wait to find out!!! Hoping we get lucky at 13 week appointment !

Chinese calendar is telling me girl too. Babycenter.com Chinese calendar tells me boy though.

If the baby is on the right side of the placenta = boy, left side of placenta = girl. They did a study on it, 97% accurate. OWT I just read the other day said extra moodiness = girl.

I just did the baby center one and it said boy!! Sweet... We shall see!

Our baby is to the left of the placenta and our DD's ultrasound at 7 weeks was the same.... I've never heard this before. I guess more pink would be fine although DH is really praying for some blue!

Aw crap.  My placenta is dead center on my cervix.  I did not want a unicorn!  Guess I won't have to buy my son a pony though.  Silver lining?

But unicorns are amazingly magical!  Think of the galleons you could get for all those tail hairs for Ollivanders! (Please, someone understand my reference).

OP.  Good luck at finding out at 13 weeks.  With accuracy.  Hell, I found out at 14 weeks with DD and people jumped all over me telling me my OB was crazy cakes.  It was a fluke.  13 would be a downright miracle.

Lol, any patience I once had seems to be shot. I posted this to see if others had heard the same thing about the placement and gender. But if I DO have a unicorn that would rock even more because it would be born out of immaculate conception. ;

My husband would agree with this one.  I was a real B*tch with DD.  Only first tri though.  I mellowed out after that... for the most part. 

I was also very "sick" (w/o puking) with DD.  I'm feeling about the same... but really hoping for a boy, because even though DH wants more, I'm pretty well done.  I've not slept well in over a year.  DD has gone from sleeping great from 7-10 mos and has regressed to the point she's up 2 times each night. 

We've tried everything, bed sharing (doesn't work for us, she's a bed hog), CIO, feedign more, less, earlier bed time, later bedtime... I'm exhausted. 

Sorry for the addtional pitty party!
