All of Reese's major gift shopping is done--however I am still shopping for small things (mostly stocking stuffers and things like that).
She loves coloring so crayons are definitely making her way into her stocking. But I am looking for recommendations for different coloring books.
She loves Sesame Street, Thomas etc. I would prefer jumbo ones that way I don't have to worry about the crayons leaving the paper as much.
Any ideas?
Re: Coloring book recommendations?
Check local craft stores for banner style coloring stuff, too. I used to get butcher paper for my toddler daycare class to roll out and completely cover a table, but in the past few years I've seen a lot of "banner" paper show up in aisles of craft stuff.
With the girls I nanny, we totally wrap the top of their coffee table, tape it on the underside, and they go to town coloring and decorating. For Thanksgiving I made them a tree template and they had all their family members that came to dinner the next day use different colored markers to write what they were thankful for right onto the coffee table to make it look like the tree was full of leaves (was the 9 year old's idea because they had made a similar poster style tree at school) and my momboss told me it was a huge hit with their extended family, all the young cousins spent time adding little flowers and animals around the base of the tree throughout the get together. The girls are already scheming one we can make like a big picture letter to say thank you to "Santa" for Christmas Eve when they leave out their toys for him to take to be fixed and rehomed (that's what they do instead of milk and cookies)
