Hi,
I am a long term charter (BBT, CBEM, OPK, CM) and this is my first month on Clomid. My RE put me on 100mg a day for days 3-7. He instructed me to come in on CD10 for an u/s and once the follicle is a certain size, they will trigger me.
From what I've read, Clomid throws your body off so charting may be misleading or be all over the place. Out of habit (and control) - I do want to chart this month - I'm also interested to see how my body reacts.
Can any share their experiences and/or provide a little more detail or insight on what to expect? Are temps different? If so, are they erratic or do they still follow the typical pre/post temp shift? My temp is higher than normal right now. Anything else I should expect?
Can someone explain testing out your trigger and what that means?
Re: Clomid, IUI & Charting
Testing out your trigger is just taking cheapie pregnancy tests after the HCG trigger until you no longer get a positive. That way if you get a positive a few days later you know you're really KU and it isn't just the trigger lingering in your bloodstream. If you wait 10 dpo plus to test though chances are it's not the trigger if you get a positive. So if you're not a super early tester it's probably not necessary.
