I'm in IL I have a 3yo in my class named Addelynn. Know a new baby named Adelyn and have a FB friend who named their baby Adelynn... Auto correct tells me it's spelled Adeline but seems like the lynn trend is hitting here. So we pronounce them add a lynn

I only "know" one, who pronounces it Ada-lynn. and I'm in California. The only other times I've seen it are on my BMB or other boards, so I can't be sure of the pronunciation.
Personally, I'm wont to pronounce it "Ada-line" as in "Caro-line"
I belong to Sweet Adelines International, which is a worldwide organization of female barbershop singers with tens of thousands of members. So to me, it's always add-a-line.
Definitely addaline.I hate it when people pronounce it addalynn. nbsp;Probably because I am almost as sick of lyn names as I am of aidan names.
This, every word of it.
It's an old fashioned, classic name and the correct pron. is ADD a line. My BFF is an Adeline and it drives her crazy when people pronounce it the other ways that have been listed. It's not a regional thing, but since you asked she lives in the PNW.

Re: Lurking pronunciation help
My two girls Flower and Ayla Faye
A. I pronounce it "ADD-uh-line" but some say "ADD-uh-lyn" as well.
B. I live in central Texas and know two Adelines.
I'd pronounce it add-uh-leen but I'm not sure if it's correct.
I prefer Adelaide.
Definitely add-a-line.
