Aunt Flo visiting so soon?

My baby was born seven weeks today. I bled for about four weeks. My first workout was yesterday and I was sore (c-section) in my core area though I only walked and did leg exercises. Anyway, I had bright red blood when I went to the restroom which is not my 'normal' way to start. Exercise related? Anyone have experience when 'normal' returns?

Are you breastfeeding? I stopped bleeding around 3.5 weeks and just bled some 2 days earlier this week. My son is also 7 weeks today. I asked the NP yesterday at my pp appt and she said it was probably still an aftermath cause your first period pp will be a doozy.

Not breast feeding anymore. I guess time will tell but it sure freaked me out!

I could have written your post because the same thing happened to me.  I just chalked it up to my first PP period and not anything related to exercise.  I didn't necessarily think that the first PP period was going to be like my normal periods.  I'm pretty bummed about it because I breastfeed and was hoping that I still had awhile before AF returned....no such luck!
