So Connors 6 week growth spurt started Monday. I think it may have ended yesterday morning. He slept all afternoon yesterday and ever since he woke up he's been unusually calm. For example, this morning he laid in his RnP for an hour listening to music while letting me sleep. My husband woke me at 7:30 to tell me goodbye and Connor was awake but content. So I laid back down hoping he'd fall asleep again. Fast forward to 8:30, I woke up on my own and he's still wide awake just perfectly content on his own. He sleeps 6 inches from the side of our bed so he wasn't alone but he always wakes us up by fussing or crying. All morning he's just laying here or sitting on my lap looking around, perfectly happy and calm. Is this normal after a big growth spurt? Did I break him somehow? Lol

Yup! I think it has more to do with they are getting older rather than finishing a growth spurt. I can leave LO in his PnP now and do stuff around the house while he's wide awake perfectly content to entertain himself. It's a nice change that's for sure!
DS has started to do this sometimes too. He will just lay there in the PnP and "talk" to the little creatures on the mobile. It's pretty adorable actually, and great to be able to put him down every now and then and get stuff done. He still wakes up fussing and crying though.
Re: Calm after growth spurt?
Yes. Now you have I give him away. ;]
I made rachelmichelle1 my bitch.
I knew you'd be honest with me. Thanks! Lol
Of course I would! Also, phone fail! That's suppose to say "Now you have TO give him away" I don't want him, I have one of my own. Haha!
