Shortened cervix update.. Good news!

Hi ladies! Thanks again so much for all of your support and good thoughts! After seeing the specialist yesterday, I finally got some answers and good news about everything that had been going on the past few days. They did another ultrasound to check my cervix and this time it measured at 3.1 cm - totally normal. After comparing this to the readings from the past few days, the doctor felt that the "short" measurements were read in error - meaning I was all worried over nothing! I was cleared to come back to work and just told to take it easy, but not to worry.

Also found out that my positive fFN was most likely from having a vaginal ultrasound less than 24 hours before the test was done. I guess this frequently leads to false positives. This specialist was so thorough in his exam and made me feel so much more at ease - I'm actually dreading going back to my regular OB since he handled this entire situation so poorly in my opinion!

Anyway, today I am just feeling so lucky that baby and I are both healthy and back to normal. Thanks again for all of your kind words!!
