s/o hand-washing...rec. your best hand lotion please

Between using the bathroom, diaper changes, washing before and after meals, and when I get home from the store, I wash my hands a lot. Now is the time of year when they get really dry so I'm looking for a really great hand lotion. I don't really care for the Bath and Body Works stuff and am willing to spend a little more on some quality stuff for my dry, sensitive skin.

Why? Does your DH not like the smell of it?

Oddly, he probably likes it better than I do.

  • Get either Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream or Eucerin Intensive Hand Repair.  Those creams are AMAZING.  And if your hands are really, really bad you can wear gloves overnight.

  • Cera Ve, or Coconut oil. My Dermatologist recommends both for dry skin, and my excema.

The coconut oil is really easy to use. You just take some out with your finger, and rub it into your skin. A little goes  long way, and it smells amazing!

ETA: You can get both at Walmart, or Target.

  • Neutrogena Norwegian Formula.  It looks more like vaseline but it isn't greasy when it dries.

Eucerin is actually pretty nice and inexpensive.

Also, apply oil to your cuticles before bed. That helps a little bit.
