I have already lost my voice, a really soar throat, a strange dry cough since I have no voice, and now sinus pressure and now this. I also cough up green stuff.
Oh, and I dont have insurance right now. We are in a 90day wait where I just started my new job Monday.
Lets all hope, pray, have good thoughts, etc that I will not pass this on to any of the following...
1. My kids. Sick kids are the worst! 3 sick kids is pure torture.
2. My Husband. Sick husbands (men in general) resort back to infancy when they are sick and dh a SAHD and I would have to miss work because he wouldnt be able to take care of the kids while he is sick. (yes, even though I work and take care of the kids etc while sick blah blah blah you get the point. Most men are like this.)
3. Any of the residents at the nursing home I work at. They are elderly and some are in the final stages of Altzimers. (sp) I have only been working there since Monday and dont want to take off. But Im terrified I will get one of the residents sick. A cold to me is death to them.
I work in the dining service part and make their drinks and take their orders.
Ive been taking meds all day today (dayquil) and its not helping. Im starting to feel worse now.
Ok, going to bed.
Re: UGH!! Just blew my nose...bright green!
I suffer from chronic sinus infections. This works for me zyrtec (otc), mucinex D (otc), a neti pot (sinucleanse.com) it's gross but it works.
I hope you kick this...usually mine need antibiotics. I just kicked one the other day. I had a sore throat for 2 days but I did the nasal cleanse and mucinex D extra strength twice a day and it's gone.

Sorry to hear that. Dh and I have both been sick all week. I have the worst sinus infection I have ever had. I am on my last day of antibiotics and no relief. Dh is on antibiotics for strp throat.
Jack just got over being sick a week ago and if the kids get sick I will lose it. The kids are going stir crazy because dh and I have just been getting by. We take shifts taking care of them.
Hope you are better soon.
