I don't sing to her at bedtime as much as I used to when she was a baby-baby, but my go-to songs are You are my Sunshine (surely you know this??) and one that my Dad wrote.

Yes, yes! I do! I am pretty sure that one had eluded me.
When I try to think of a lullaby, the first one that comes to mind is Rock a Bye Baby...and that's the one I don't know the words to.
Sometimes I end up singing Leavin on Your Mind by Patsy Cline. It's okay now, but I think it may scare him as he gets older.
I sing somewhere over the rainbow, froggy went a courtin, kookaburra, we went to the animal fair, twinkle twinkle, and to make you feel my love. A few my mom sang to me. The rest I googled and had my phone in front of me until I could sing it without. Right now I sing lots of xmas carols.
I forgot, there's this one. It was the only one I could remember in the hospital.
Be optimistic. Don't you be a grumpy. When the road gets bumpy, just smile, smile, smile and be happy! Don't wear a long face, its never in style, be optimistic and smile.
Clearly this song is usually used as a pep talk for myself. Maybe that's why it's easier for me to recall since I've always said it to myself.
My problem isn't that I don't knowwww songs, but in the moment I freeze or something.
When he cries, I have a mini panic attack like I'm not going to figure out what's wrong.
My jumbled up point is the above last two sentences. Or I freeze. Mini panic attack.
Re: lullabies.
But I am bump mobile. So I will just say... Google and YouTube will serve you well.

I end up freaking out that I draw a blank every time and just start saying "Your name is ... Let's spell your name" followed by me spelling his name.
The other day I sang "You have the hiccups. H i c c u p s. They are annoying. We don't like them. Some people spell them h i c c o u g h s."
My poor child.

Tehehee Thanks! The best part about The Hiccups Song is if I think of extra words, I just throw them on in there! Because, well, it's my song.
I also kiss him every time he hiccups. Not while singing the song, but after he's had them for a really really really long time.
