i'm trying to figure out what to do for dd (almost 2 by xmas) this year. so far I know she's getting a little rocking horse from my sister, an american girl baby from my aunt and uncle, and an easel with some art supplies from my parents. so far I've bought her a shopping cart with some play food. we'll do things like coloring books and crayons for her stocking. any other ideas for great toys a 2 year old might love and be able to grow with?
Re: more xmas gift stuff- ideas?
We got DS a play kitchen, some wooden blocks, and FP medical kit. I looked at both the Cozy Truck and Plasmacar but didn't end up getting them. I'm not sure what he's getting from grandparents and aunt and uncles except the FP car garage since he looooooooves cars. I also considered the Little Tikes basketball hoop for outside and the Step2 Write Desk.
she has the ipads 2 and 3 already... (jk- obviously, jk)
thanks for the ideas! i think she would LOVE a medical set with some doll accessories- that's a great idea for her. i realize they're just toys, but we really dont buy toys beyond christmas/chanukah and birthday so i feel like these decisions are very loaded since she's stuck with them!
