OMG meltdown!!

LO had a knock down, drag out purely unadulterated meltdown tonite.

He's never done this before. He was fed, bathed, swaddled and being rocked to sleep for bedtime. He decided he didn't want his paci, spit out the bottle, kicked his legs like holy heck, and screamed bloody murder. We unswaddled, rocked, bounced, gave mommy time, tried daddy time, tried more clothes, tried less clothes, tried laying down, sitting up...for the first time ever I could not calm him down.

Finally DH suggested the ring sling. He fought it at first, but after walking the halls for 20 minutes LO finally fell asleep.

What the bloody heck happened?!? What would make LO do this out of nowhere?? He is 12 weeks, 1 day. No fever, pooping and eating just fine all day.

Yeah it occurred to me after I finally got him to sleep. But I never expected this level of meltdown! Oy I hope this passes soon.

Also make sure to check fingers, toes, and penis for hair. He could have a strand wrapped around thats hurting him but you don't see it.
