I LOVE Hudson. Ethan is way too popular for me, so I would give my vote to Theodore. It's one of those names that can be really cute for a little boy, yet still really well suited for a professional man.
Absolutely love it! I'm totally biased though because it's DS's name. We call him Teddy but a few call him Theo. I think it's a great name for a baby or an adult. Ethan is nice too but too popular for me!
I love Theodore and its nicknames! I think it sounds fine with Hudson. Ethan is far too popular for my taste (and I don't like the 'n' sound at the end of both names).
Hmm...as a mom of a Theodore, I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad there's so much love for it on this board. It jumped 30 points on the SSA list last year. I love that it's not too popular and I think that I'm sad that more people are loving it. Lol, I'm difficult to please!
I like it although I am not a fan of nn Teddy, I much prefer Theo. I think Theodore/Theo works just fine as a sibset with Hudson.
I like Ethan too. I know it is the more popular choice but I have not met or heard of any Ethans lately. The only one I know is about nine years old. I also worked in childcare for 8 years or so and didn't have a single Ethan (but I have been out of that for about 5 years so take that with a grain of salt).

The name Theodore has grown on me with time. Mainly b/c a friend of mine used it recently. But I'm not a nickname person. I would have him go by the whole name with no nickname. The nickname Theo reminds me of The Cosby show and Teddy well I just see a teddy bear.
Neither one is bad though.

I like Theodore! Do you like the nicknames associated with it?
Also, even though it's really popular, I love the name Ethan.

I agree with this. I prefer Theodore (nn Theo) to Ethan but I thin k Ethan sounds better with Hudson.
This. I really like Theodore & the NN Teddy but I don't like Theo.
Neither one is bad though.
