Can 2-year molars cause vomiting?

I can't figure out what's going on with DD.  I posted about 2 weeks ago that she's been having random diarrhea, just once every few days, and occasionally seems to be running a fever, though her temp is never really that high.

This morning, she woke up way early, just lay on my for about an hour, and then threw up all over the living room (and me).  She started feeling warm again after that, so I gave her Tylenol and snuggled with her for a while, and then she was ready to get up and play.  She's been fine ever since.

She does keep asking for "something to bite on," and one molar seems to have broken through already.  Could 2-year molars really cause all of this?  She's never had much of a reaction to teething before...

Re: Can 2-year molars cause vomiting?

  • I seriously doubt it- sounds like there is a little bug going on.  While I do believe that teething can cause fevers (even though my pedi swears they don't!), the vomiting seems like it's from another source.  I'd put her on the BRAT diet stat & no dairy for at least 48 hours from the final episode of vomiting...
