Baby Names

Does this name flow ?

Stella Elizabeth.

We had the name Stella picked out during my last pregnancy , but with a different middle name. My DH recently suggested the middle name Elizabeth to honor his grandmother and I love the idea. However I then started suggesting different first names. Last night he asked if I didn't like the name Stella anymore. I do, but told him I wasn't sure it flowed well, but he didn't seem to think that.

I guess I am just looking for an outsider opinion, as maybe it just sounds weird to me because we had other middle names in mind originally. TIA .

I vote (not that it counts in the slightest!) for Stella Elizabeth. I think it's very pretty.

  • I think the double vowel is tripping you up. I like the two together but really like Stella Noelle. I think it's really pretty

  • I think Stella Elizabeth is fine, but if you want to shorten or do away with the two-vowels in a row sound, you could call her Stella Beth.

  • I think Stella Elizabeth sounds great.  Stella Grace would be fine too but I don't like Stella Noelle because of the two double ls.
