Hudson woke up just fine this morning.  By 9 am he looked sick.  His little eyes were red.  Another 30 minutes later he had the crust typical of pink eye in both corners of his eyes.  We started the drops by noon today with him.

My prediction:  at least one, if not both girls, will have pink eye by Thursday.  I will get to stay home with her (them) and not be with family yet, again.  

Why do mama's get the crappy end of the deal on a constant basis?

Perhaps, I'll make brownies.  ; )

Aw, that sucks. I almost always have to stay out of work when DD is sick, because i am salary and hubby isnt.

DD started getting eye Crusties this week also. Eye dr told me to smear some triple antibiotic cream over her lashes. It worked! Unfortunately for me, I ended up getting an eye infection myself. Maybe you could put some cream over your other kids lashes as a preventative measure.

And I know how you feel too.  The big kids are off this week & DH is off this week.  I'm the only one that has to get up in the morning.  So why the heck am I the one up waiting for Oliver to fall asleep??  I still haven't had a shower.  It's farking 9:50!!!!!!!!  Ugh.  I think he's finally asleep though, so I should probably get to it.

Ug. Bummer. I second (third) the idea of just putting all the kids on the drops so you can make it. I don't think the drops hurt if they don't get pink eye, KWIM?

That sucks!  It happened to us for Christmas several years ago.  DS got a virus with a fever a couple of days before.  Dr said DD would have it in a couple of days.  Sure enough, it happened and we had to miss our family get together.  The four of us were together though.  It was sad because my brother was in town from FL also.  FX that they don't get it.
