Hoping this is not another UTI

I posted last week that Paige has an ear infection and yeast diaper rash.  She was on two antibiotics (one for her kidneys and one for the ear) and the yeast cream.  The yeast rash got better for like a day but now just seems worse than before she even started the cream.  The last two days, she has been whimpering a little when she pees.  I didn't think too much of it, just assuming that the acidity of the urine was irritating the rash.  But then it dawned on me today that it might be a UTI???  I called her pedi and the nurse said that since we have her well visit on Monday and she doesn't have a fever, that it would probably be okay to wait to have her checked on Monday.  If she is still whimpering, they will probably have to do a catheter to test her for a UTI.  My poor baby girl.  I just want her to get better.  I'm also worried what a UTI while on preventative antibiotics would mean for her.

On a related note, Brynn had her kidney u/s today.  The pediatric urologist wanted her to be checked out since it might be genetic and they wanted to make sure that her kidneys are growing normally.  Everything looked great and she did fantastic during the procedure.  We talked about it all night last night saying that she was going to have a jelly belly!

Oh no!  For Paige's sake, I hope it's not another UTI either.  Her little body has enough to deal with already!!  Glad Brynn checked out fine though.

Poor Paige. That girl needs to feel better already. Hopefully it isn't a UTI. I'm glad Things were positive for your other daughter.
