LO holding bottle/sippy cup to drink formula etc.

Christopher will hold a sippy cup but not his bottle and when he holds his sippy cup he will drink but he also plays with it. I am working on him holding his bottle by himself.

I tried doing a CP but it wouldn't let me post it. But is anyone elses LO being stubborn and not holding their bottle?

  • DD can hold her straw cup, but can't get the bottle high enough when she's sitting up. She just plays with it if I let her try while laying down.

  • Aria is just now starting to hold her bottle... But she's not always happy about it.

  • Lucia doesn't hold her bottle (though I haven't really encouraged it at all) and she doesn't hold a sippy cup.  She'll hold a straw cup, but doesn't drink through it, and she'll drink from a sippy cup, but we have to hold it up.

  • Glad to know he isn't the only one not doing it. I keep seeing all these babies around his age holding their own bottle, I have to admit I am a little jealous just because it would be nice for him to drink it himself without help from me, when I have to get ready to leave etc. Still where I can see him but it would give me an extra hand to use.
