Impressed with my munchkin!

We've been doing sippy cups with water during meals, and he seems to get them just fine as long as someone is holding the cup. However, I've been unable to find a straw cup, so we've not really done that yet. However, I keep a big jug of water in his room that I use if he wakes up overnight and I'm thirsty. It's one of the hospital oens with the bendy straw. This morning when I got him dressed, I picked up the cup and put the straw to his mouth just to see what he would do. I was floored when he started drinking out of the straw! It may seem like something small, but this little man never ceases to amaze me!

Awww, these LOs are just growing up way too fast.  One day last week, we were at a restaurant for dinner.  I always stick the straw up to Ian's mouth, and he usually just kind of sits there.  Not this time, stuck his lips on it and proceeded to take a drink!!!  My sister, who was with us, said yeah he did that at lunch today.  Was another 'first' that I missed, but oh well.  Such big boys!
