Can I do this?

DD is a flower girl in April and I have a white ruffle butt pocket diaper that will most likely fit her then.  I thought it would be cute for her to wear under her dress, but since it's a pocket diaper she'd only be wearing it for a couple of hours max.  Could I put a prefold on her and use the pocket diaper as a cover, or would that not really work?

Yes, it will work.  I've done it before.  But, same as a cover, if it gets poop on it it will need to be changed.  Also, I don't think I would do it often because it can't be wiped down like a regular cover can.  But for a one day thing, definitely.

Thanks!  I figured at the most I might just need to alternate it with another cover to let it air out a little.
